Try a technical security architecture simulation

Walk a real technical architecture design exercise — critique a flawed assessment, design the fix, and get a scored result emailed to you. Free, no sign-up required beyond an email for your result.

Three-tier progression

Foundation

~10 min

Identify an architectural weakness and propose an appropriate redesign.

Intermediate

~25 min

Work through incomplete evidence, competing hypotheses, and interacting architectural weaknesses.

Advanced

~45 min

Make and defend architecture decisions where security, operations, and legacy constraints conflict.

[Test] Exposed Internal Admin Panel — Simple Access Control Review

A short, simple-difficulty technical security architect simulation for exercising the admin module. A warehouse-management admin panel is reachable on the internal network with no authentication. The learner briefly judges an existing assessment, then designs a single access-control/segmentation fix and writes a short recommendation.

Supply Chain Trust Architecture Review

A technical security architect simulation inspired by patterns seen in supply-chain compromise incidents. The learner briefly judges whether an existing assessment is technically sound, then spends most of the simulation designing the actual architecture response: segmentation, service account governance, egress control, and staged update validation.

Production-Critical Vendor Exposure — No Clean Answer

An advanced technical security architecture simulation. A critical third-party production connector is deployed across every plant, a vendor-side compromise advisory raises the stakes, and full isolation — the architecturally 'ideal' response — would break a real-time production process the business cannot tolerate losing for six months. The learner must design a target architecture, a defensible interim architecture under conflicting constraints, and a migration plan, then revise part of that design when a new complication surfaces.
